I like that. I think love is one of the hardest things in life. I think that more now that I have 2 children, 3 step children and a husband I am fiercely in love with who annoys the heck out of me sometimes. I am really grateful for all the love in my life not just from them but from you and my friends and family.

One day recently I was really depressed, for no particular reason (weird for me - really weird!) and Ed started saying 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... I think he got up to 15 or something before I finally said "What the heck are you doing?" He said "Counting my blessings" (I should add that he was pointing at *stuff* like the bass, the piano, the guinea pigs, me, the boys passing....)

Those moments are rare for Ed but wonderful. :-)
