I'm applying for a job as an Assistant Manager at an apartment complex in Flagstaff. It's a 2 hour drive from where I live now, but where I want to go back to school ( Read more... )

You are good on the computer and a super fast learner, good with people, like to work with people, Take directions well, that kind of thing :)

hey, if you want, semd me your resume/cover letter...i can edit it to make it sound better !!! :) i have a good knack at that!! :) everyone applies for things, and sometimes people get their chances...i got mine 3 years ago w/ the government of canada . . . awesome job ever..and am thankful to this day for the chance i got!!! :)

can you ask barnes n' noble for a raise/higher position? and would isaac move w/ you, you haven't updated much on that!! :) :)

I think it's reasonable to tell them how excited you are about moving to Flagstaff, and just to sound enthusiastic about the job in general. You know you're qualified for this job, so make sure that comes across. I think all the office experience you've had is probably plenty, and as long as you have references from some place you worked it doesn't have to be the one most closely related.

Also, it will sound good if you have some questions to ask them about the job. Prepare some questions ahead of time. Also have a pen & paper with you while you're on the phone, so if any good questions come to you during the interview you can ask them at the end.

I just went through all this, so it's fresh on my mind.
