I had a hard time when i pasted the image on the white then the color layer it filled the whole thing i couldn't get the effect like in your example to save my life...not sure what i did wrong.

One you fill the layer with your color of preference yo merge it down to the image and erase everything but the person in the picture, for example: i erased everything around Hayden's body. I hope you can do it this time, if anything, you can ask me as many times as you want.
