That was fantastic. I loved Claire's interaction with Peter (poor chap) and of course with Sylar. The scene where his powers overload was very powerful (though he seems to have re-acquired some of the season 1 powers he lost in season 2?). And of course, I can totally see Bennet using Sylar as a tool to kill other dangerous or inconvenient people. I'm looking forward to part 4!

you know, i was never actually very clear on the whole how many powers he lost thing. :/ for some reason i assumed when he injected himself and took claire's healing ability, they would all just come back. and in the flash forward episode where sylar believes he is peter's brother, he has both issac and ted's powers-- so i just thought hey! maybe he still has them after all. haha.

Actually, if you think about it, it's possible that he could train himself to reacquire some of those powers retrospectively (the useful ones like superhearing at least, I think he'd dump the radioactivity!). After all, if his power is to understand how things work based mainly on his observation of people's brains, he could theoretically learn to reacquire a power based on remembering what a particular person's brain had looked like. Or he could use his recently-discovered empathic mimicry that let him acquire the shapeshifter's power (and possibly Doyle's) without poking about in the brain. Like you say, he had those S1 powers in the future, so there's some leeway.

Nothing better than spot-on characterizations. It will be interesting to see if at some point in the series Sylar really offers to "fix" Claire. Well done!

and yeah. i've read a lot of opinions where some people think claire's lack of pain is her own self-defense mechanism, and then others where sylar did it purposefully to "protect" her. i'm still not sure what i believe. i'm just rolling with the flow, haha.

thanks :) i'm working on the final part. it's just taking a little bit longer to sort out all the details and get it to where i'm completely happy.

and sure you can add me. although i will warn you, my journal is mostly rambles about real life with some scattered fandom tossed in.
