GACKT was on 'Jinsei de daiji na koto wa marumaru kara maranda da' tonight. He showed a camera crew around the outside of his house in Malaysia, a shopping mall nearby, his favorite restaurant and an example of an available (and expensive) house.

I agree with you. I think it's wonderful that he's thinking about his foreign fans and is putting this effort in, but non-Japanese fans became fans of him knowing full well he doesn't sing in English. I might be generalising, but given the choice I think most people would rather hear his songs as they know and love with them (aka, in Japanese), than as different versions.

At least, that seemed to be the reaction to YFCz...

I'm sure the English versions will be excellent as he's had help with the translations/lyrics (and probably any pronunciation issues too), but yeah, you don't need to be able to understand the lyrics to sing along. There's no translation that can beat singing "dakishimete" a million times in different songs... XD
