MAX THE MOVIE has been released on YouTube.

It's a thirty minute long movie starring GACKT as the big bad, Eniac, and also has a small role for Yuki Kimisawa.

Reijiro Kato, who worked on the movie, shared a couple of photos of Eniac's character design.

That movie is one of the most random things I've seen since Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. It's like Ai to Makoto plus Iron Man plus Ancient Egypt plus Bruce Lee plus everything else under the sun.

At first I was confused because I recognized the voice doing the narration but it took me a while to place it (there's a version of Dancing Samurai with Gorgeous punning on the lyrics), then I hit the closed caption button and the sound of lasers was CCed as "Baseball" and I thought that was a joke. But then instead of "Eniac ni yotte" it said "rei ni yotte" and I figured out that it must be YouTube guessing at what's being said, not properly programmed in closed captioning. So I turned that off and went back to the beginning.

HILARIOUS. XD

Welp, gonna have to carve out some time to watch the movie later today (or at least the parts with G). Is it just me, or is Eniac's design vaguely reminiscent of something from a Guillermo del Toro movie? I can't think of any specific character or movie, just gives me that overall vibe. (Also, totally did not get the possible connection with Eniac's name. At all.)
