FLOWER is one of my favourite GACKT songs. It was released sometime recently before I joined fandom so it was around quite a lot and I kept listening to it. The PV and lyrics really broke my heart sometimes but I like sad songs.

I played a clip of the PV for a class in school during my presentation on emotions in Japanese culture (I think! It was something to do with the use of very emotional words in song lyrics).

And I really like the video of him singing it at karaoke. I think I tried once but failed rather miserably.

Have to put this version here to, because I really love it! Just G and noone else... I think it captures the song atmosphere so well...

I always like to think it's a song written from Askura's perspective... Because in the end he did love Maria very much too and she did die for him... So I think this line fit's him very well..

An amazing beautiful song

Only true professional could survive something like this with honor. His face and nothing more but the song. And he nails it perfectly. There is no need to anything else but the song and its singer. This performance is mesmerizing.

I heard some say it's boring, but if you let yourself get immersed into the music and the lyrics, his performance really becomes mesmerizing...

I'm just sad I couldn't find better quality version up on YT, so I could put it here.

I can understand that boring attitude. People often comment like that if the song doesn´t catch them immediately. And then they are lazy enough or just not interested enough to give a second chance. But it´s their loss :)

It irritates me as well that I haven´t been able to find this PV with good quality. I think I have never even seen it with HQ. Aargh!

When I first heard Flower I considered it quite common and nothing out of ordinary, but something happened then. I needed to listen to it many times before I realised it has become one of my favourites. This is true love, not a quick infatuation.

Lyrics are breathtakingly beautiful.

I'm one of those people who found Flower rather boring at the beginning. But something happened that made me get into the song, at which point tears started flowing from my eyes, and ever since then, this is one of those magic G songs to me.

It is also a great workout song! XD

I have been trying to find out what on earth this "something" is, but it escapes me. I just can´t put my finger on it. GACKT magic, perhaps.

This is a wonderful workout song! And actually pretty good for stretching as well. At least when you have to go outside your comfort zone...

Yeah it's really so perfect.. It also helped me with that "irreplaceable" of his... Here you can actually hear he says IRreplaceable.. In the actual single/album it's almost like replaceable flower...lol

one of my two favorite songs of Gackt. I love it so much bc you don't need to read a translation of the lyrics to get it's sadness. I almost cried at the performance in Munich in 2010. Also the PV matches the song's atmosphere perfectly.
