I know some people forget it sometimes--as pyroyale pointed out in an earlier post--but Gackt is an artist (duh). XD

I don't know if people know about his, but Chachamaru gets 50% of the music composition credits since the Mars album (aka not for the previous singles), and 100% of the guitar composition as well.

I spent the last 15 minutes looking through old albums and singles, and he is left uncredited a LOT. MARS and Rebirth don't even credit "Gackt.C". |D

They're very inconsequent with crediting. GHOST credits are similar to Diabolos, Jesus omits crediting, EVER credits "ALL PRODUCED BY GACKT" and "GACKT.C".

I only have a brief recollection of how this happens, but when it comes to writing credits for music, an artist will have a contract with a publishing company. It might be their own company, but it goes through a company. Production credits don't. So, it might be that his publishing contract is, and always has been, under the name Gackt.C but he chooses to use the more familiar GACKT for production.

There are instances of artists who publish music under their real name, yet are in a band under a stage name (I know some pretty obscure rock bands who do that, haha). Publishing rights are awkward.
