That five seconds of awesomeness was absolutely worth a post. Thank you for giving the starting time, though, b/c I really didn't feel like watching the whole thing just now... even though it's only a minute and a half...

They had to cut it off just when I was getting into the song! >3<
Couldn't they cut more from the AKB clip, there's too much from them... from X-Japan's too.. >.>;

Hopefully we'll get a full video of this to see how the other songs sounded, especially since JESUS doesn't sound as amazing as it could..

It sounds really lifeless and flat, IMO.

I'm sure the rest of the set was better though!

So, wasn't this actually JON's debut performance as YFCz in Japan?

I thought the order of appearances of the artists kind of....said things about their ranking in AVEX..... 9_9;
Ayumi Hamasaki who'd always ended the show in the past years was replaced by Tohoshinki, and YFCz was before Hamasaki. Hmm.

I wouldn't read too much into YFC's position in the running order. Secret guests can be put anywhere, no matter who they are. I'd never expect either YFC or GACKT to be billed above Ayu anyway. She has a mainstream appeal he's never had.

Tohoshinki closing the show has caused a lot of discussion though. That's a shock.

They did break up.

There were originally five members, but three members quit over disputes with the record company (IIRC their Korean record company, not Avex). Tohoshinki is now just the two that are left.

It's quite an interesting story, really. The three who quit are having a lot of obstacles thrown in their way.
