It sure was emotive. G was talking very lively. :)

I also wonder what's so special about it though, it seems to me like another coffee hour talk programme during an hour when only housewives watch tv..

It was a big deal because it's a very famous, long-running show, and as old as it is, it's a very strange thing that our GACKT has never appeared in it before.

It's almost like....the producers, and perhaps Tetsuko, finally decided to...approve of him as a STAR in their eyes.

Probably that's why it's a huge deal.
At least that's why I was personally very excited for him. :3

Ah, I see. I must admit I was pretty lazy with doing research on it, but I already thought it might be something like a TV program I spotted on arirang (Korea's global TV channel) called Heart to heart -
"Heart to Heart" invites fascinating domestic and foreign guests from all walks of life from foreign ambassadors and CEOs to international stars performing in Korea to talk about their personal and professional life experiences in a very cozy atmosphere.

I only saw my assumption confirmed when I saw your reaction. b^^♥
...or is it different? (I haven't watched it yet...)

It's an old program. It begun to be broadcast in 1976 and due to his schedule time in the tv and the content, a lot of people knows it. It is made to be available for all the generations.
The guests are changing all the time and the presenter is very respectful for any guest young or old.
The impact of this tv show is in the same importance or even more than going to "Hanamaru Coffee" which is also "a place to go".

Moreover here the content of the interview was about mainly the relationship between Ogata Ken & GACKT and as Furin Kazan was a very famous Taiga drama where they met, it interests a lot of people.

oO I don't think at all that "Hanamaru Cafe" is very respected, but it's a place to go, because it's very known, popular and at one of the best time schedule at the TV in the morning.
We are talking about TBS and his influence on the other medias, and this program have always good ratings.^^
It's not really the same kind of influence that the tv show of yesterday. Sorry if I wasn't enough clear on my previous comment.^^""

You're welcome, Xia!^^
