Doomskies

I was outside, reading, and something landed on my head.  I thought, "leaf," and continued undisturbed.  Then another thing hit my head, then my arm, then my chest, then two on my feet, then one on the book.  It left a smear.  It was water.

Rain.  Rain?!?

Dear weather, it is June.  Nearly July.  Please take note.  You're scaring me.

Well of course it's raining in June, June is rainy season! Apparently. Here, anyway. But why is SoCal going all tropical, I thought it was a desert?

I think that the weather has decided to be exceedingly humid purely because I'm moving. Watch, as soon as I'm done, everything will be all nice and wonderful again. *hrmph*

I hadn't thought about that. I'm sorry. :( Well, let us know when you're all settled so I can plan for the imminent arid weather. :)

It is a desert! (Or was before we robbed the Owens and Colorado rivers of most of their contents.) But it's been weirdly humid and overcasty the past few days. It was only a couple drops of water, but still!
