It seems that I've horribly neglected the quills lately. The kids were a bit more energetic than I predicted and I'm rather convinced my sister and her husband were pretending to be sick those last few days to enjoy an extended vacation

An' I'm up for startin' new traditions for this month, but dunno how many others are up for changin' things. Hell, I give things to folks all months of the year anyway. ...But...lately...
Ain't ever read those books, though I keep hearin' folks talk 'bout 'em. But then, readin' without the help of the quill is still hard sometimes. Dunno if I'd like those types anyway, though.

Well as there's currently no traditions, I don't think adding a few would hurt anything. And while I agree that we don't need a special reason to treat those we love about, you must admit that during this cold snap of February motivations to do more than huddle at the fire decline. At least for me.
Perhaps you should practice your reading skills. There's lot to discover and enjoy inside of Books Kin-kun, even if you prefer something other than romance.

Mmm...I dunno 'bout that. Old man Dai-chan is makin' me think there's some traditions out there. Maybe they're old though~? Like him~? So maybe some new stuff to counter whatever he's thinkin' oughta be good~ Stuff to warm up those unmotivated hearts when it's too cold to do anything~?
Hey, I didn't know much 'bout readin' 'cept my name 'til I lived with the Shiraishis. Gimme a break, man. It's not even been a year. As it is, Kuranosuke ain't an easy coach, an' I've learned 'nuff to get me by 'round this city.

Old man Dai? Is that what you call Sakaki? Does he now? Can I tell him if he doesn't?
I'm afraid I don't know any old traditions so I suppose it's time to make some fun new ones. I already have the next few days planned out.
Then you're making good progress but it's not time to get lazy about it. If you'd like some extra practice I'm always happy to help. I'm sure I can even find a few books that might motivate you to practice.

Screened for Oshitari
I have been reading the book when the ladies put it down for the night...I'm still unsure how I feel about it.

Oh? And what are your thoughts on the novels?

Which one?

Any. I enjoy talking about romance novels.

I have not. I do know your intentions, but I'm afraid I am the sort that likes to hear comments on the book before I read it. I do not give it to them, nor am I really going to fight to read it first.

So you likek to be spoiled before you read for yourself? Such a naughty boy, Kunimitsu.
Perhaps I should start bringing multiple copies...

I suspect that unless you brought four, I would still not be the first to read. Mother, Grandmother, and Ohtori-kun all seem quite fond of them.

Four? I'm glad so many in your home seem to enjoy them. But the one I care about the most always seems to be the slowest. ♥
