i'm not sure how i didn't know about their existence in the 90's, but i've been listening to the album "Seasick" by Imperial Teen on repeat for the past few days. it's so good!!
god, they are incredible. i also didn't really know much about them until the aughts. they had a few songs in that movie jawbreaker (ya know the one) and i thought they were cool, but probably, like, 2002 i got REALLY into them when the album "on" came out. that one is really excellent, too. actually, they all are, except the one they put out, like, last year. get them alllllll.
ha! yeah, i was just about to ask!! i actually thought of you when i was listening to them, because they're in the same vein as a bunch of bands from the mid/late 90s that we both love.
Oops, I wrote that without reading Evan's comments. Also, what have you never seen Jawbreaker?? Wait, you OWN it and I have watched it with you- there are 2 songs from that album on the soundtrack, I'm pretty sure. SHAME!
