Slow commenter is slow, but holy wow, this was fantastic. It was tense and unrelenting from the very first passage, right through Hibari's discovery of the crimes--each and every one--all the while, as a reader, knowing that it was Mukuro manipulating Yamamoto, and watching on painfully as Hibari figures out the same thing

I have to take a moment to collect myself after a comment like this--it's such a compliment to hear that you experienced a lingering effect after reading. Thank you so much for sharing that with me! <3
I'm also so pleased that you could sympathize with (and believe) Hibari's emotional struggles. I think that he builds walls and rejects complications as a protection against pain, just as you say, and yet I also think that his ties to people can run deep.
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! I'm quite humbled. <333
I've held off commenting on this, because it deserves more than key smashing and words that aren't even words. Unfortunately, my reaction is still alkjdflajfljaslfkja GUH! I loved it. It was similar to a horror film in that I kept wanting to yell at Hibari to run DOWN the stairs not up and to pay attention to that damn smell! lol It was a great ride, and even though we knew Yamamoto was being controlled, the reasons were an interesting twist. And I do love that Chrome did what she needed to do as painlessly as possible, because I do feel she would try to do so. But wow, that's a lot to put people through for the sake of training. :(
Hibari and Yamamoto's reactions to having their world flipped upside down are so justified. And I love how it's a fight at the end that finally helps them bridge the gap all this has formed. Love it!
Good grief, thank you so much for the wonderful feedback--I'm humbled that this has left such an impact on you. <333 Funny that you mention horror films, because I actually had a long string of nightmares during the writing of this story, heh. I'm glad that the characters' motivations rang true, and that you could sympathize with all that had happened. <333 I have the hugest smile on my face now!
Thank you again for such lovely comments! *smooch*
Thank you so much! <333 ^////^ I think I died a little writing this, lol, so I'm ecstatic that you enjoyed the (massive) read. Your comment is much appreciated!

The push and pull for control and dominance by the characters made this a great read. You are amazing for pulling out an epic like this. ♥
