i saw some people firespinning over the weekend. they were awesome. i took a crapload of pictures and uploaded what i thought were the best. they're behind a cut and there's a lot of them. not many comments tho

Interesting how in some photos you can see the alcohol (?) drips burning blue on the pavement beneath.

I've seen a lot of kids at nerdcamp do similar things with glowsticks, and now I'm absolutely terrified they'll start setting things on fire as their next step.

Alcohol?! Good grief, no. Kerosene. Those tracks come from the spinners hitting the ground with their poi to knock off excess fuel.
