GO! 003

From what has been reported so far, I think it's tentatively safe to guess that any act that reflects a great virtue or sin at midnight seems to do the trick. I can't exactly do a trial and error so this is based on what people have said whenever they get back and other reports combined. People who help other people get back seem to be able to ( Read more... )

The nature of death here depends a great deal on one's circumstances.

I'm surprised you haven't already been informed. Those who die here under cursed circumstances don't remain dead; it's a temporary state. Those who arrived here after their deaths or who died within the City outside of the effects of a curse remain dead but animated, and most importantly for some, are unable to return to their own worlds unless a sacrifice is made to alter their condition.

Mm, well actually I should have been clearer myself. I did get that much. But there seem to be a few gaps in the intelligence about that subject still. Revival, for example, does it make a difference in regards to a person being able to leave the City? Or it it only within City bounds. This isn't referring to a deal with the deities, but individual actions. I'm going largely off of hearsay, unfortunately right now.

From what I read, death from the circumstances of a curse doesn't count. You come back fully alive. If someone kills you, though, it's for real.

Yeah I read that too, but seemed vague on the matter of say, someone dying here, not because of a curse, and then somehow being revived. I'm wondering, for records, if that counts also or only the death.

What do you mean?

If dying here traps you here, if then being brought back here enables you to leave, or if you are still only able to live within the City's confines.

No, although I have been watching it.

It would appear that the Joker has resurfaced. With Harley Quinn here, I cannot say this makes me feel comfortable.

Good to know you're normal-side, whatever normal is here, Alfred.

I noticed that too. Has Bruce said anything about it?

Not yet. You know what the Joker does to him, though. I don't need to tell you to be careful.

The City may pass him off as a clown, but we know all too well what he's capable of.

Well, if you die, you can't leave. You'll come back, but not fully. If you find a way to get restored to full life, lucky you. You can be on your way again.

That so? I wasn't clear on that part.

Thanks.

Have we met yet? I'm not sure, sorry about it if we have. Your name?

We talked briefly. Name's Greed. I met Raven a bit before you came. You're all some superhero team, I think I recall. I'm still a bit vague on what that is, though. Don't know if a city would actually pay for that service.

And before me meet in person sometime and you get shocked, I'm not a human. You can probably tell from the teeth.

Probably not, but we're not really paid for it back home either. Not about being paid.

Not human? What are you then?
