All your hard work paid off. I hope you get some great responses.

I've got my first already, and put it here in a postscript. If I get more, they'll be right here. One of my "friends" (in so far as it makes sense to think of people you hang out with on YouTube as friends) has promised me one, which I'm looking forward to showing off.

I said *great* responses. But the super-creepy background was interesting.

It is kinda something you'd expect to see in a thriller when the cops finally track down the serial killer, isn't it?

I love the video! It reminds me of all the conversations I had when I was a philosophy student sitting around chain smoking cigarettes and generally having fun. The people I hung out with loved to play devil's advocate, including me, so we'd all have chosen the Rembrandt. I mean, the baby's potential is still undecided, it could grow up to be a serial killer or a president that wages war on the Middle East for all we know. But the Rembrandt's value is already known and its potential value is pretty predictable. However, I suppose on a purely evolutionary, biologically determined level, I'd have to choose the baby.

Oh and music is my life x 10.

I was very much a devil's advocate as well back then. I'm gonna make a video about that, as well, but it'll be a while....don't wanna do that one too close to this one. But yes, it's a lot of fun to just automatically disagree about everything and then have to back up assertions that you don't actually believe. Good intellectual exercise.
