Hello everyone! I'm finally back to the internet after moving. This are finally somewhat settled and I'm now making progress towards my new life. I'm looking into programs for my web site design company and have FINALLY connected to the web. I'm hoping the high energy of my this place is not bogged down by my additive habits and poor self image. ( Read more... )

Drupal or Joomla will be big benefits to you. :)

They're content management systems, and they're free so you can downlo0ad and play with them.

There are others like SilverStripe. I just know Drupal best b/c I've been learning it.

You might also list the CSS Zen Garden which shows that with just CSS alone you can make a website that's really pretty, without needing a lot of unnecessary html or javascript or perl or php or whatnot.

Just some ideas. :) I still have to learn CSS myself but from the little I've toyed with it, it's awesome.

hey hey

I'm watching Star Tek 6 on an up-scaling DVD player and high-def TV set.

Remember years ago when we watched this on a VCR tape on a low-res TV and thought we saw someone standing in the shadows of the conference hall at the beginning?

It's no guess. There really is someone there. It's obvious on the DVD cut in high-res.

We were RIGHT! But it takes the mystery out of it.

I'm going back to VCR tapes. :P
