I write this lying in bed. I've sinned again and I'm not prod of it. I find public confession to be much more effective than with a priest

not sure how helpful of a tip this is, but... you can't get grounded with your feet off the floor. Feet on the ground, head held high, and you'll be able to channel your energy much more efficiently.
