Ive been hearing stories about how furs are doing and it's starting to worry me. I contacted my aunts up in Sugar Loaf, just above Big Bear asking them how arrowhead is... answer... not good...

-_o I love the arrowhead area so I'm a bit upset about this.

I totally agree...This is all rather overwhelming and devastating. I keep thinking about the animals...

If theres anything animals have had to deal with longer than people are fires. Its more natural for animals to encounter with (and escape fire perhaps more than escaping/coping with the slower urbanization of their habitats.

Ironicly enough, many of the trees up in arrowhead are Dependant on fire to sprout new young saplings to make a greener, lusher forest >_>

of course but there is also always a balance. The difference in cities is that they are acclimated to those areas and they are being charmed where they do not know what to do. The brush naturally burns but coinciding those other factors makes it much harder. They say this is one of the largest fires in US History. Maybe it is maybe it isn't, but it is devastating and they are losing their lives. Many are. AND even when they do get into contact with fires, many do perish, the circle of life.

Well its always bad animals are dying and stuff... the santiago fire was started intentionally by a person, though I think most if not all the arrowhead ones started naturally... without humans, fires like these in the past, have been just as bad if not worse than this.

Its the intentional fires that are really upsetting to me... :< that and accidental human related ones (like downed powerlines) [Which is the cause of one of the forest fires there but not all] Those people could have done something to prevent...
