Made of WIN!
I was watching the Geraldine McEwan version of Sleeping Murder on Saturday and was just thinking that they did such lovely things with the colour saturation.
You've picked that up and enhanced it to the full!
Thank you so much!

Thank you! That's one of the few things I like about the new series - the colors. I thought they would make some really cool icons. Glad you liked the end result!

The new series is very difficult for me.

I love the sort of 'visual signature' and I quite like Geraldine McEwan on principle, but I HATE the way they alter the original plotlines to make things so much racier. It seems so unnecessary. The Moving Finger is not as, ahem, *different*, as Sleeping Murder (about which I was FURIOUS because it's my fave Miss Marple), but the differences seem purely sensationalizing. *sigh*

Although I have to admit that I ♥ John Sessions, so I was terribly glad that Mr. Pye got a bigger part. *blush*

Have you seen By the Pricking of My Thumbs? That's another one that makes me upset in a lot of ways, but again I'm torn over it. As I mentioned, I really do like Geraldine McEwan, so Miss Marple's appearance in a Tommy and Tuppence mystery is not as upsetting for me as it might otherwise be. And I ♥ Greta Scacchi. But, really, Tuppence does not have an alcohol problem and the whole town was not complicit with the crimes. *headdesk*

Oof. sorry for the rant!

I adore this movie, James is sooo scrumptious ^^ Once I'm back home, I'll be taking some of these for sure, thank you! And I think I'm going to make some gifs for myself as well, thanks for inspiration :D

Oh wow! That's my favorite of the Marple books, and I've never seen this; clearly that must be remedied ASAP. Thanks!

I'd watch the old Joan Hickson version too. It's much closer to the book. But the new one has a brilliant cast, which sort of makes up for the pointless plot changes...
