A couple points, for those curious: the gods of Eberron aren't active the way that gods are in most D&D settings, so different interpretations of the same god can happen. In Mourn's case, the Keeper isn't the god of undeath, rot, and general wickedness - he is the God of the Dead, Keeper of Souls. The faithful are rewarded in death by being taken to a paradise, while the unworthy are consigned to the plane of the dead, a grey and dull place that slowly drains them away. The undead, by Mourn's reckoning, are absolute anathema to the Keeper - they've rejected a chance for the Keeper's mercy, and deserve nothing less than oblivion ( ... )
