Obligatory note: This is not an organised essay. This is a Ramble. There are spoilers, speculation, completely irrelevant statements, wild hand gestures, and frequent cursing. But I have fun writing them, so they might as well be stored safely.

I... Have I ever mentioned how much I adore your sense of humor? :'D

Regardless, this is a really, really well thought-out essay ramble. I... am still kind of spazzing at the idea of Soma being back, but I can definitely see what you mean by it possibly being a positive thing for the two of them.

However, I'm not entirely sure that this is Soma, you know? To me, it sort of seems like Marie drawing up a shield around herself- a shield of protectiveness; the attachment that she has to Sergei was established when she was Soma and not Marie, after all. Marie did say that Soma's memories and personality were still with her. She phrased it almost like she could just pick it out and sort through it at any time! Which is definitely not what Allelujah can do with Hallelujah. Hmm. I'll reserve any further thoughts for it until we see more out of her, but I really think that this is Marie doing a bit of hiding ( ... )

I know, it's always been hard to tell exactly what kind of split Soma and Marie have in comparison to Allelujah and Hallelujah. We don't even have confirmation than Halle is entirely DID and not something more, and what is 'inserted' supposed to mean? A computer chip? Biological rewiring? It's all very vague ( ... )
