First proper post after my triumphant return to the tinternetz \o/

So while I was away I didn't do anything that you would call exciting as such, but what I did do:

I honesly have no idea why I spent so long not watching it, seeing as I first heard of it years and years ago. I just... I don't know. And now I can't believe I didn't watch it right away. I'm plotting how to get the DVDs now. Hmmmm..

Oh man, that book broke my soul apart. And all the little lines like saying Henry has a book called, "Hypothermia, Frostbite And Other Cold Injuries" and when he told Clare, "If anything happens to my feet, you might as well shoot me." WELL PLAYED NIFFENEGGER! WELL PLAYED *tips hat*

Have you looked on Amazon? Last time I looked they were pretty cheap (I got my boxset for about £10 the year before last).

Yeah, on play.com there's about £15 at the moment so I'm probably going to get it from there (with my shiny Five action figure that I'm ordering \o/) I just need to work out how to get moneys (which, um, if I do well tomorrow then it'll be okay...).

I have this unhealthy love for the Olympics, seriously. I watch everything that's on TV, it doesn't matter what sport it is! It's a shame that I didn't get to ogle at watch the GB swimming team 'coz everyone's so focused on Phelps. That guy is not human, that's my theory, lol!

Time Traveler's Wife was great, I think I was kinda numb to the story when I read it (I must've been mourning the end of HP at the time) so I think a re-read is in order!

Right? I mean I've been watching Esquestrian sports which... wtf self? I usually hate it. The GB Swimming team did great, I mean, we're not known for our swimming but this year we've managed to get a few medals and we broke 23 British Records or so in one games which signals good things for 2012. *g* The Men on our team are all so adorable *smishes them*

You really should re-read *nod* And there's a movie coming out at the end of this year? *hopes like hell it doesn't let the book down*

Oh, The Time Traveler's Wife! I've read it about four times now and I cry was hard every. single. time. I love it. SO MUCH. ♥ Aaaaah, I hope the movie won't suck. PLEASE PLEASE.

I watched the Firefly pilot a while ago and didn't find it all that fun. And yet everyone and their mothers calls it the bestest thing ever, sooooo. dunno. I'll have to watch it one day.

THE MOVIE CAN'T SUCK. I forbid it. I did try to re-read but then I noticed all this ~foreshadowing~ from the 10th page or so, like saying Henry has a book called, "Hypothermia, Frostbite And Other Cold Injuries". And then later on when he told Clare, "If anything happens to my feet, you might as well shoot me." IT HURT MY SOUL and I couldn't read any more.

You should give it another try, it really gains momentum as it goes along, a lot more than it managed to do in the pilot.
