[A small voice can be heard almost whispering over the journal. He's already had his little panic attack over someone sneaking into his room and handcuffing him.]
I have a key if anyone's looking for one... It doesn't fit with my cuff, so I was hoping someone might have the right key for me.
[Sounds about right. The cat closes his journal and

So maybe there's been word about this weird handcuff thing, but Tammy wouldn't know. Right now she's heading down the hall hoping to run into someone she knows and find out if they know what's up.
Barring that finding the person who has the key to her handcuffs would be ideal as well.
The first person she spots--wait, is that a person? Kind of furry for a person, and those ears...wait, Tammy's read a fairy tale like this before, except she doubts the Big Bad Wolf would have been about her height. Regardless, she definitely doesn't know him, but he still might have a clue what's going on.]
Hey, do you ha--
[She cuts off as she's nearly yanked off her feet. Her cuffs are going nuts and almost ripping her arm off, and she stumbles and only manages to avoid barreling into the...person...by bracing her free hand against ( ... )

What? He- Oh Oh god get away! Get away!
[Calvin's already starting to run from his assailant when he feels something cold clamp down around his bare wrist.]
Let go of me! Help!
[Freckle hardly notices the displeased and surprised expression on this stranger's face, though she may recognize a rather familiar voice coming from this kitten.]

[The last thing she needs is him flailing and dislocating her shoulder trying to get away from her. Tammy might be insulted except his skittishness is pretty much understandable in a place like this. In an effort to placate him she holds up both hands, palms out to show him that she's not got a weapon, save for the key in her uncuffed hand. Which of course doesn't fit her cuffs because that's just how this place works.]
It wasn't me, it was the cuffs. I'm not going to hurt you.
[Yeah, somehow she won't be shocked if he doesn't believe her. But she keeps her hands up, and there's this nagging sense in the back of her head that she's heard his voice before. Just briefly, and it seems like her memory of it is less frightened and more angry...she just needs a moment to figure out who this rather adorable kitten is--]
Calvin! You're Calvin!
[See, she just needed a moment.]

[He's going to calm down slightly when he sees that she's unarmed, but is still breathing quite heavily. How could a kitten of the law ever think that he would be the one in a pair of cuffs?! Oh woe.]
How do you know my name?! Who are you!
[Calvin won't even consider the possibility that they've communicated before.]
