Yay! I love this! Jim's hair really is fascinating, isn't it?

Gil chooses his words carefully; he’s not going to have that fight with Oscar again.

Sigh. I love how you tread the line between funny and poignant.

Thanks! Isn't that what we all love about the show? Those moments that make us go Ha! Ha! Ouch...

“I thought she was bluffing,” he smiles, not seeming to mind the loss.

Aw. AW! Oh, Gil. You got so much across with so little in this, it's perfect. I, too, want to know more about Gil and Oscar's backstory. Glad you wrote this!

My fics have been getting shorter and shorter; in a couple of months, I'll be down to about a dozen words. :)

Aww, Gil! The fix-it man! And his and Oscar fighting over Oscar not being out at work, and Jim's carefully messy hair, and the outsider perspective - just great.

It's not deliberate; at least, not on Jim's part. I've spent seven years working in offices as a Receptionist in Her Mid-20's, and this hair is unbeLIEVably common in young men my age. It springs from one of two sources: either the gentleman in question is unaware enough of his appearance that he honestly doesn't know his hair looks like that, or, as I suspect the case is with Jim, loathing for his job comes out in very subtle but mulish ways, and unwillingness to get up in time to comb one's hair is one of them. It's also worth noticing that his shirts are never tucked in straight, or all the way ( ... )

Oh, Scarlet Pervygirl... I'm sorry, but Jenna was joking about the wig. I have seen many, many pictures of John Krasinski, and that wingy, messy hair is all his own. I am taken aback when I see him all gelled up for a photoshoot, as I adore that crazy hair of his, as I do his old man ties and his JC Penny shirts.

Anyhoo, thanks for reading!
