In Miami for a long weekend. It was such a welcome relief to wake up to sun and the sound of the ocean waves lapping against the sand. Why do I live in the northeast? I really don't know anymore.....

Off to get some food and then sit on the beach until sunset. Pictures later.

bah! we had a snow day up here. i tried to take my son to school, and my car skidded across the icy slush and into a snowbank. screw school, says i. let's hope he doesn't repeat that next week.
