It was just so witty. Plus, they really knew their stuff.

This is the first time in years that I remember the parade being so much fun. Usually it's been tending towards the lame. But this year? I enjoyed every second.

i went to stacey's house after my own family's early thanksgiving meal, where her whole family was visiting. i didn't see the parade, but her brother and sister-in-law had gone to it and were mystified about something that a nephew had asked about on the phone -- had they liked being jockrolled? bundled? huh? something? and i eventually figured out ... rickrolled? and i had to explain the whole thing to them. these are people in their early 30s. bizarre.
