I would have totally volunteered mine if I wasn't sick and suffering my own hot water related problems. :( I'm glad you got a shower after all. :) And a fun time at the babyshower! Sorry about nightmares though!!

God, what a crappy dream. And no hot water? AUUUUUUUUGH.

But that sounds like a pretty excellent baby shower. I love the idea of decorating a onesie - when I was a kid, my mum used to set out tees or sweatshirts and tons of puffy paint for people to mess with at my parties. It was awesomesauce.

Agree on both counts. It's like the universe is conspiring against keeping me rested.

Isn't that such a fun idea? And did your mom do that for adult parties or kid parties?

Kid parties - we never had adult parties when I was growing up. Well, one or two, but I think my parents mostly went to other people's houses for that...

Yikes! Sometimes our subconscious minds are kind of kooky and disturbing. (I am sure that everything will work out just fine-- if there were any blips in our wedding day, they are long forgotten by now.) Just enjoy! :)

Were it not for a few elements and baby-specific activities, this was like no baby shower I've ever been to.

As if that crowd would throw any other sort of baby shower. ;)
