It seems I've been returned again.

There is no indication of how much time has passed.

[at first the journal picks up just breathing, and silence. And then, a loud, desperate scream, and several soft thuds of disorientation. It's quiet again for a while, then she decides to write something, not trusting her voice to stay steady]

[it's safe to say Nephry has been unconscious for most of the past few days. For the first time now she's really awake and aware, at least enough to speak, and her nearby journal will pick it up]

Where am I?

[a lone, slow-moving figure makes her way toward the village. She doesn't know that's where she's going. Just walking is taking up all of her concentration and effort. When she finally does sink to the ground, gasping for breath, she forces herself to open the book she's carrying]

This situation is worse and worse. I find it hard to believe how accustomed the people here are to things like this, and the lack of motivation for taking some sort of action is...unsettling. It's almost as if--
