[An experiment is going on. Nephry knows this and has known for days. She's been in the jungle again, in the desert, and trapped in the same room, going through the exit only to come in through the entrance again. It makes almost no sense at all, and that made it so easy to remember that it wasn't anything real.
This morning she wakes up in her room

[He'll wander about for a little while, searching for the "exit" back into normal land, before spotting Nephry. Though she's clearly much more prepared for the change in weather than he is. He'll just be running over now, taking care not to slip on the snow.]
[With a shiver:] H-Hello, Nephry.

Ion. What are you doing out here dressed like that? You're going to freeze.
[If only that weren't a legitimate concern for him. She doesn't even have to think about it, pulling off her coat and wrapping it around his shoulders.]

I believe you were the one who brought that up earlier this year. Walking in the snow with friends... I don't think we had the chance to do so before the snow started melting.

[It comes back soon enough, though perhaps a bit more reflective than cheerful.]
...yes. To be honest, I was glad to see the end of it.

...I may not be the best of company at the moment, Ion. [she looks away, but it's more about taking in the landscape than it is about not looking at him] I am...surprised at how easily I was fooled, even knowing the general nature of this experiment.

That's all right. I understand. It looks like your home, after all.
