Now that the weather is more favorable for it, and with so many chances to take advantage of it...on the advice of a friend, I would like to learn how to swim. It is...difficult to learn such things in my home, and so I never did.

Of course, I would need to find a willing teacher, first.

I was taught the basics when I was younger, but since my retirement from the Oracle Knights, I haven't gotten any practice in.

[It's virtually the same problem as Nephry's: Keterburg isn't a swim-friendly environment. One may think that it's like riding a bicycle and you don't forget, but Gelda was never fond of swimming in the first place.]

...now that you mention it, I don't think I ever learned to swim either. [This seems to be the pattern here... although in Ion's case, he's simply never tried.]
