Oh my, poor Xander and I do love this fic so much and I guess that's because you let Xander suffer in such a deep and intense way. Your annoucement to the begin of this chapter makes me very curious and this chapter was great. As always. Thanks for sharing and I'll wait for every chapter no matter how long it will takes.
sooo :-) 1. thanks for the worning ;-) fair gaim so to speek... but i do only hope that you'd no go tooo deep in this things and won't carry away.... but yep till you do that i'm going to read!!!! coz i like the story and wannt to know how it's going to end 2. i' so hope better half of the bad things are going to be happening to Dawn coz she's had it tooo light for now... she should see what's life.... beside loosing the family there are so many things and she's acting like a littly spoiled bitch now
Ouch! Well, it looks like the good times are over. Now it's time to bring on the drama and the angst galore!
You really do feel for Xander in this chapter. He's fighting so hard to do what he feels is best for Dawn and yet he still feels like he's not enough. Add to that the unresolved tension with Spike and it's no wonder he feels like a failure.
This chapter makes me a little pissed at Dawn for Xander's sake. She should know by now that Xander is only looking out for her best interests but then she is also a teenager and that cannot be easy.
I greatly look forward to more when it becomes available.
Ugh, all I can see is Dawn doing something stupid.
Funny how now that they live with Spike, Dawn seems to expect him to drop everything so she can have a social life. It certainly sounded like she wanted him to follow and keep her save. At a discreet distance.
Good on Xander for putting his foot down. Now he just has to follow through. Make sure Spike knows that no means no.
And he may not be sleeping, but at least he's reading some classics, I bet Willow would be proud.
Part of me is all "YAY! angst!" the other part is "Dammit, angst." I'll have to prepare myself for each chapter as they appear.
Thanks for sharing (and continuing!) happy writing, update when you can!

Poor Xan. He shouldn't take things a teenager says so hard.
