'It is the nature of the heart to long for what it cannot have.'

I suppose there is a small fact in this...if only because mankind longs for many things it can never really have.

humans are so...strange, the heart of a man?, interesting words, philosopher, learning english

I am not sure. Perhaps because we have the tendency to ignore things when we have them.

Then miss them when they are gone.

And where do you stand in that?

I do long for something I do not have. I had my brother with me in this place for a small while but now...now I understand what this phrase says.

Do you consider yourself more human as a result?

I was given a purpose- and as such, I was welcomed into the cities of man at the price of leaving the woods.

That is the way of humans...they know and understand regret. Even if it is not something pleasant.

No.

Creatures never understand regret.

It seems like that's true. But I don't think that's true for just humans. Everyone wishes for things they can't really have sometimes. Its why we have dreams.

Animals do not understand it the way humans do. Animals do not long for lost possessions, they only understand that it is lost and never returning.

You were the one that helped a small wolf pup.

I want to know how it is doing.

[Why hello Esseru!]

Yes. It is what the heart is entitled to do. When someone one loses something, or some person- their heart by nature wants it back.

You are human, though I do wish you did have to feel that.
