I know James Lawton comes off as a Liverpool fanboy, but it's one thing to love a team and an altogether different thing to respect (and show respect for) its manager. That's why I love reading him -- he knows where the fine line is and how to avoid treading on it.

omg your icon!

i´m starting to fangirl Lawton and Tomkins just because of you. you always make me happy when you post these things.

(btw, you should have heard Victor Fernandez yesterday commenting Zaragoza´s game on the radio -that man´s love for football shines like the sun. really, he kills me)

I assume his commentary is in Spanish? Man, I wish I could understand the language better. Maybe by this time next year? :x

But yeah, most English language commentators are dreadful, Ray Hudson aside. The radio guys tend to be a bit better, probably for the sake of their profession, but still. *sigh*

Quique says he might not be staying on next year. I'd be devastated.

It always happens that Jose doesnt really shake hands with the opp in most of his losing matches. He always feels that Chelsea are the better team and have a better say.

Hasn't he only refused Arsene and Rafa? I'm pretty sure he shook hands with Fergie and Chris Coleman...

The Special One is really disappointing me. There is a difference between being justifiably arrogant and being a cad. Liverpool was the better team and played better. So it won. Mourinho better see that he has effective players instead of expensive ones. I love Chelsea, but this astonishing lack of the sportsman like spirit is really pissing me off.

Yeah, it's hard to really, honestly hate him for being arrogant when his team wins everything in sight. But when cracks start showing, both in terms of the team's performance and his tactical decisions, it's really hard not to point and laugh.

Yay, good article :) Lawton does it again.

But what the heck is up with that bizarre title?!
