Somehow, despite signing up to the sshg_promptfest and the deeply_horrible Sloppy Seconds extravaganza, and finally completeing droxy 's exchange_bingo prize, I managed to win the petulantpoetess 2013 Review-A-Thon!

Look at my lovely banners!

God, I am so in awe. I only signed up for the prompt fest and it nearly killed me. I can't imagine doing THREE and THEN winning a review-a-thon!

I was a complete nervous wreck by the end, admittedly. Just as desigrl!

So was I, over my one fic. I'm pretty sure both thornedhuntress and Nathaniel Cardeu were ready to throttle me by the time we were done. And I do mean we. It was a group effort getting me through that. I owe them both more than measly words can say.

Desi and heartmom88 from ffnet are the only reason I managed to finish. I could perhaps cope with one exchange by myself... but why risk it? I love having a support team! It makes what can be a rather lonesome hobby into a real community thing.

:D

Very nice! That's not as easy as it looks, because you can love a fic to pieces and get pulled away by family, work, repairmen, neighbors... or just have brain freeze and want to wait until you have something more eloquent to say than 'I loved it"

I'm guilty of normally reading on my phone, so it's rare that I actually get round to reviewing. This was a really fun challenge!

I love the fact that you completely omitted that you also did a good deal of britpicking for the promptfest as well!

I seriously wonder how you did it, dear!

No matter... Congratulations! (I agree on squibstress! Do you have any idea how difficult it was to get through verifying all those reviews without getting sucked into fic? It was torture! LOL!)

Britpicking doesn't really count as work - it's much more like using the accident of my location as an excuse to read a load of stories before anyone else!

Also, I think I've acquired an energy drink dependency...

I can't believe you had to check all the reviews! Do you get a banner, too?

LOL! :) Hey, you use what you've got, and if your location scores you tons of early fic, then more power to you!!! (I'd totally use that advantage as well!)

Yeah, coffee has become my constant companion these past weeks. You should have seen me on the days I went without. It was only then that I realised how much I was drinking. It didn't help that those were days where I was attending fields trips with my children. Hot, loud, smelly bus rides and caffeine deprivation do not combine well! :D

Heee! Perhaps... though since I am the one who made the banners, it would probably come across as a bit narcissistic to make my own! :D Nevertheless, being allowed to organize these events to TPP is its own reward. We really didn't expect the response we got! Each day, when we looked at the daily stats, there was always a bit of disbelief there, as well as a thrill of excitement that the event itself was a success!

Congratulations on all these accomplishments, dear!!! You deserve kudos for being able to pull this off while working on all of them at the same time.

My rules is 2 fan events. I cant do three. I wish I could do fandom all the time though. =) I agree, it is more fun to do small group projects. =)
