Anime Suggestions

I've been enjoying the Lain Series, can anyone else give me suggestions?  I've recently seen The Cowboy Beebop movie it was good, seen Ghost in the Shell.  Loved the first one, fell asleep during the second one.  I've got Helsing on DVD, the first episode... haven't watched it yet... Good?  Loved Princess Mononoke... And loved Akira!  Only have

Bubblegum Crisis is an old one but a good one.
Lost Exile is fun
Record of Lodoss War should appeal to the gamer in you
If you like FY you will probably like El Hazard or Tenchi Muyo.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is a gold standard Very weird though.

I am not a big Anime fan, however I recently saw Howl's Moving Castle in both English and subtitled and I really loved that one. I also like Princess Mononoke so you may like that one. Just my 2 cents.
