I can imagine some TV executive somewhere rubbing their hands together with barely concealed glee . . .

I can picture it now - a variety of insects are brought together for a six week arduous training regime during which they are filmed through their various trials and tribulations. At the end of each week a fight is organised and then one is voted off.
