present and proper - adjectives after nouns/pronouns

Before a noun, present refers to time; after a noun, it means 'here/there/not absent'.
the present members = those who are members now
the members present = those who are/were at the meeting

В обычном привычном порядке перевод - настоящие или существующие мемберы, во втором - присутствующие. Во как ;)

А еще вот нашла - know all men by these presents - настоящим объявляется, где present переводится как письмо/документ.
