Some refreshments (sleep and Dad)

Got over 9 hours of sleep. That was really great!

I told my Dad about the inspirational "knowing" to be a psychologist/therapist. He replied, "You would be a great psychologist/therapist....I might be your first patient!!!!!!" That's really great about your Dad being such a positive force in your life. As for the sleep thing, whatever happened to sleeping at short intervals throughout the day? Did that not work as well as planned?

Ahhhh yes. Polyphasic sleep. It broke down primarily because psychological issues were interfering; one can imagine that stress from such an attempted adaptation would bring out all sorts of other buried stress. "Physically" I could see the possibility, but combine that with upwellings of unprocessed emotion? No. I might try it again some day when my psychological system is more fully healed and reliable. Current doing siesta or biphasic model (most sleep at night, with nap at midday).

Dad has proved to be a godsend... gosh.

The biphasic model is, as far as I remember, the appropriate, most healthy way (according to mainstream medical science) to sleep. It's what most adults find themselves doing once their life is in order. I know my mom, my grandma, my sisters, and I do it. :)
