(you're probably wondering who i am! i got to your xanga from tashas...)
i know what you mean about SPED kids. i drive a sped school bus, and my first day i was freaking out. but now....it doesn't matter what 'labels' they have, they are my kids. MY kids. and i will miss them horribly when i leave in a few weeks. for some reason, they just touch me more than regular ed kids. they hug, and talk, and do everything without thinking about their image. it amazes me how few inhibitions they have. but i love them all. i could work with those kids forever and still learn new things ever day. good luck with whatever you end up doing :)
