Keep an eye on woot.com - they regularly have Roombas at excellent prices.

I know at least one of those Roombas was bought from W00t.com. Probably both.

Just one. I don't remember where I got the first one, but it wasn't Woot.

Get a Dyson vacuum. They're pricey, but they're AWESOME.

Which one do you have? I was looking at them yesterday. My one real complaint with many current vacuums is that to empty them you have to take the canister outside, dump it in the garbage and live with the blowback into your face. I suppose you could encase the canister with a plastic bag and turn it over, but there will still be escaped crud when you take the canister out of the bag.

Or is there a better way? "she asked hopefully."

I don't know what model it is. It's purple.

The canister works like Jen described - hold it over the can, hit the button, the bottom opens, and the stuff falls out.

I miss your thoughtful posts here.

One of the things that keeps me from warming up to Facebook is the relativel lack of depth.

I miss your observations here, too. And I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment on the England blog!

OMG, the England blog! I don't even remember the url for that, although I'm sure I can find it.

You're right.
