Today was the last day of my spring break. (Yeah, it's early at my shop.) Of course, I still have the weekend, but I always do have the weekend, so the last really breaky day was today. I spent it in a meeting with my pastor, picking up the house for the cleaning crew (I don't clean it, I just put things away so that they can clean it), and then ( Read more... )

Good grief! My College's spring break doesn't start for another three weeks! When do you guys finish the term for the summer?

Well, it's not a spring break like other places have. We're on quarters. Winter quarter ended in February and this is the break between quarters. Spring quarter starts on Monday and we go to mid-May.

I read all the email and I asked the guy at the wine store (who gave me lots and lots of advice) and then threw caution to the wind and bought on the basis of price, name and label.

Evil Red, produced by R Wines, Southeastern Oz,.
RedCliffe Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, NZ
Woop Woop Shiraz, Galvanized Wine Group, SA
Monkey Bay Chardonnay, NZ
Shoo Fly Buzz Cut 2007 (white), Oz
Red Knot Cab. Sauv., Davey Family Wines, SA

I know the Monkey Bay one; it's very fruity with a distinct grapefruit note which I like. I have not tried the others. And since I cannot tolerate red wine in any quantity any more, and am reacting increasingly badly to whites, I probably will never know.
