Lynne Thigpen was also the chief on Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego.

And Michael Jeter was also in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, as the guy who presented the anti-drug film. He was in a lot of stuff.

I know. auntiesiannan broke the news of her passing to me with something to the effect of the Chief is dead... but more people are more familiar with the Carmen Sandiego games than the two TV series, so I didn't think to mention it.

Michael Jeter was indeed in a ton of stuff. After seeing him on Sesame Street, I spotted him a few days later on a TV showing of one of the Sister Act movies (as one of the monks, he sings a bit in the movie too) and after that in the movie Drop Zone -- my brother was watching it on cable and said "hey, isn't that Mr. Noodle?". Also saw him recently when ABC broadcast Patch Adams. He was like Kevin Bacon, only funnier-looking.

Should I take that as a recommendation to watch it? It's one of the many movies I haven't seen yet.

I agree, Jeter was one of the high points in the beautiful, but flawed film. His character was amazing and he played it beautifully.

For the interested, here is his IMDB bio. He really has been in a lot of stuff.

He will certainly be missed.
