Angus Oblong is coming to town -- well, Arlington.

Angus Oblong is going to be at Wizard World Texas in Arlington next month. On his appearances page he says that if someone brings him a midget, he'll give them a Milo NO. shirt for free. I wonder if Laurel could pass for a midget. If not, I'll just have to bring a chicken sandwich with cheese.

It would be so awesome to get my copy of 13 More

The Oblongs… was an amazing television series. I especially liked the episode in which they had their bathroom seized for the public good - whoever wrote it understood real-world politics.

Ah, the episode where Helga got stuck in a sewer pipe. Laurel was very wary of the storm drains in our neighborhood after we watched that episode.

I guess it's a less sinister reason to be wary of storm drains than if it resulted from reading Stephen King's It. (I do not like that book for encouraging a fear of clowns.)

I do not own any prints, but I do have the first three Random Drawings books. Laurel has not seen all of the artwork in them until she displays understanding that things can be funny but not appropriate to mention at school. (Like the day she asked me if pubic hair turns gray in older people. I laughed so hard I cried, then I looked it up.)
