I'm not a serious Oz fan nor do I actually want to go back to North Carolina to see it, but I find it entertaining that you can rent Dorothy's House in the defunct Land of Oz amusement park in Beech Mountain, NC.

in high school - i was the lion. And i still have the costume that my mom made me.

also, i went through a serious pink floyd phase in college. Posters and the wizard of oz and the wall and all that.

And yet i don't have the slightest urge to rent dorothy's house... Any house that is sturdy enough that it could be plucked, whole, off the ground and dropped from a serious height without injuring the occupants is just too damn trippy for me...
they should have spent a little bit more money on a foundation and not blown it all on building the walls out of "black box" material.
