The next night, two of their trucks turned over while traveling. Of the nine animals that escaped, two were recaptured, two were killed, and they were unable to find the remaining five which included a polar bear.

The first time I saw the polar bear on Lost I yelled, "There's the Campas' polar bear!".

I am a horrible bitch, but this comment, after such a tragic story, made me laugh out loud. You're a sick puppy.

This is the sort of thing my paternal family takes entirely in stride.

One of my grandmother's sisters was thought to be stillborn, so they put the 'dead' baby outside with the trash. When she was heard mewling, they quickly retrieved her, but she's never played with a full deck. I enjoyed telling her bizarre stories because she'd just nod and reply with random things about relatives.

I know. Another Campa family niece was killed by a tiger some years later with the Suarez Bros. Circus.

1951 was the only season they were known as the Campa Brothers Circus.

If you don't mind the fact that I have a macabre sense of humor and occasionally complain in friends-locked posts, you're welcome to read my friends-only posts.

If you don't like my friends-locked posts want me to remove you from my friends list, just let me know. I know some of the stuff I wrote about this summer was pretty dark.
