At some point in the near future I plan to devote a Gallery album at castle.geek.net to Laurel's artwork for the curious/bored/killing time viewer, but for now I thought I'd share the funniest thing she's drawn this week: walking letters. I think it was partly inspired by "When Two Vowels Go Walking" from PBS' Between the Lions, which we watched ( Read more... )

Please say your child didn't write the word "Celeste", she is far too young to know that kind of evil.

I don't think she was. She understands that letters make words, but she hasn't shown yet that she knows how to make words other people understand from those letters. In September she wrote WUB and proudly informed me that it read LAUREL.

She is too young to have stolen my few memories of Celeste, though she did make me crave pizza yesterday.

You know how it is, ya gotta keep those vowels moving. In fact, a lot of people take special measures just to have a vowel movement.
