I watched that with some mates at a sleepover. We were convinced that the director was on acid. The weirdest part was that the mountain range at the end (you know, the one with the lake and the giraffes?) was actually a mountain range in Switzerland - my family go there every few years. Why they picked that mountain range of all the ones to shop into the background, I have no idea.
This was a gorgeous part! I loved it in different ways than I loved the first part, mind, but I think, if anything, my love for this story's grown stronger. Damn you, damn you and your wicked way with words! (Alliterations! WOO!)
While this was a pretty serious part (chapter?) in the story, you still had that lovely Puck-like voice that has trouble staying serious for long.
"Rachel’s tzimmes was actually better than Puck’s mom’s; which he was never, ever mentioning to either of them." That made me grin relentlessly for some reason, if only because it reminds me of how my dad gets whenever we tell him so-and-so makes a better brownie/lasagna/soup/etc. than he does.
"the phrase ‘re-connect’ flitted through his head and Puck swore and promised himself to stop reading his mom’s Cosmo’s when he was on the john" Oh, Puck. ♥ ♥ I love bits like this; they're like those delicious, expectedly unexpected nuggets of chewy, sweet nougat in Toblerone bar and wow, I think I'm having a bit of a candy-bar withdrawal now.
A-haha! *does the dance of yay!* So, still liking it then? :D
I love that you like the little random bits! I know they don't add anything per se to the plot but I like putting them in :D (& I really want to see Puck jerry rig Bunsen's now...)
And then little more wumping, yup - but hey! I got a cookie out of it! \o/ *munches happily*
And so, SO pleased you liked the Temple/family part! I was a bit anxious about that part and didn't know if it'd come across as OOC but it just felt right to me.
*hands you a double-shot espresso and points you toward part 3* :D

I may be *totally* wrong about that, though.
