SPN fandom goes beserk

So, as far as I can tell, much of SPN fandom has lost its collective head over a spoiler for next season. I read one post early on in the craziness and immediately regretted it. Up to now I've managed to stay fairly spoiler free for two seasons of the show so I'm now publicly forswearing any more spoilers as that way lies madness as the ensuing

Meh. Yeah, I'll join you in foreswearing S3 spoilers. I just stumbled across a post on this one, and it's just ... Geezo, it's so way too friggin' early to get our collective knickers in a twist about any of this. They haven't even begun filming yet - far as I know J2 are taking time off for other projects this summer - and if there's any certainty about Supernatural, it's that nothing is certain. Kripke is and evil genius and the place he left our boys in this season is simply too volitile for frivolous handling. I don't think we need to get too freaked out this early in the game. Game, hell, they haven't even ordered the hot dogs yet.

So yeah. Mellow, chill, cool, that's me. I'll just wait and find out what happens in September. :-)

Part of why I read the spoiler was I thought it's way to early to know anything much at all. Silly me. Sheesh.

You should check out some of the Asylum and Few Good Men posts in back issues of the newsletter. Sounds like JA has been having a blast despite kamikaze fangirls. Haven't hear much about JP's movie but it was nice to read about him attending A Few Good Men.

Who knows where Kripke will head with season three, though I expect there are all sorts of pressures from the suits that will have to be satisfied. *sigh* I think we can safely assume they (ie EK, RS, KM et al) know who their core audience is and what it is they need to do to keep us addicted. I'm assuming all this *waves hands around in the air* is in aid of building their audience which they really need to do if the show's to survive past three seasons.

I'll join you in the cool and mellow and stay well away from spoilers. *gives spoilers the evil eye*
